A leasing packet for the Liberty Bank Building

The affordable housing application process in Seattle may appear to be complicated for first-time residents. However, Community Roots Housing (formerly the Capitol Hill Housing Association) exists with the express goal to simplify the leasing process for residents in need. They approached me to design a leasing packet for a historical development at the Liberty Bank Building in the Central District of Seattle. This brochure needed to communicate the steps, requirements, and answer as many applicant questions upfront.

I conceptualized a leasing packet that illustrated a brief history about the Liberty Bank Building, tables for applicants to quickly determine eligibility, a simple application process timeline, and FAQs page to answer all essential questions.

The Liberty Bank Building successfully opened to local residents in February 2019 and filled its capacity goals. More recently, a locally owned and operated cafe and barbershop moved into the commercial space with great success.
