Approach: Every year Surface Art unveils its annual product line and presents a new look and feel at The International Surfaces Event (TISE) convention in Las Vegas. During this convention, Surface Art hosts a Digital Lounge for clients to learn about their strategic advantage online and offer them resources to help them grow.

Challenge: Building relationships with customers is a key component of what makes the Surface Art brand unique. I aimed to design an event experience and digital lounge presentation that was approachable and customer-focused.

Solution: I designed a new look and feel for all 2020 tile labels & packaging, display signage, and digital content. For the digital lounge, I researched customer accounts and prepared our team for face-to-face meetings with key clients at TISE 2020. In our meetings, we held a review of their brand and social media presence, offered feedback and areas of improvement, and educated them on how to access and fully utilize the resources available to dealers through Surface Art’s website.

Results: Our customers were incredibly receptive to the new convention booth layout, look, and experience. Display signage served as talking points for our sales team to highlight the latest products. The customer-focused booth arrangement was more breathable than previous years per sales team comments and allowed them to guide customers through diverse product offerings without feeling forced. The digital lounge was well received by our clients and led to a number of custom projects and sales leads.

Surface Art Inc's Digital Lounge at The International Surfaces Event 2020 - me team collectively researched our customer accounts and sat down with them for a 30 minute review of their brand and social media presence, to offer them feedback and areas of improvement, and lastly educated them on how to access and utilize the resources available to our dealers.
