Client: Capitol Hill Housing Association
Location: Seattle, WA
Challenge: Many future residents did not understand the complexity behind applying for city-sanctioned affordable housing. As such, the Capitol Hill Housing Association needed a simple brochure to communicate the steps, requirements, and help answer any applicant questions. Additionally, this lease packet was to be used for marketing the re-construction of the historic Liberty Bank Building in the Central District, Seattle.
Solution: I conceptualized and designed the Housing Association’s leasing packet, illustrating and explaining the Liberty Bank Building development. It provided tables for applicants to use to determine eligibility, a simple application process timeline, and FAQs to answer all essential questions before applying.
Results: The leasing department loved the packet design and utilized them at community events and in meetings with potential residents to aid in their leasing process. The Liberty Bank Building successfully opened to local residents in February 2019 and filled its capacity goals.
