Client: Capitol Hill Housing Association
Location: Seattle, WA
Challenge: Capitol Hill was the first neighborhood to be designated an Arts & Cultural District by the Seattle City Government in 2014. In 2017, the Capitol Hill Arts District partnered with the city to commission a marketing campaign and raise awareness.
Solution: As the art director, I coordinated with two designers and produced a poster, postcards, stickers, and digital banners. I scouted Capitol Hill for public art and captured photography to utilize. Using the images, I conceptualized the campaign launch and generated content with a team of designers. I presented this marketing collateral to the board of the Capitol Hill Arts District and proposed a plan of action for launch.
Results: Ultimately the board accepted our proposed campaign design and strategy. The content was successfully launched to raise public awareness during the summer months of 2017.
